Boots' new toy fire truck is atop Snowy Mountain, and he and Dora need to get it before Swiper does! Tico to the rescue! Dora's fastest friend will help her, Boots, and the viewer race over land, lake, sky, and snow to get to that fire truck!

Tropes:

  • Deus ex Machina: Tico when he shows up in his car, train, and bicycle-plane.
  • Don't Celebrate Just Yet: Boots when he finally gets his fire truck but then they hear whisking from Swiper.
  • Exposed to the Elements: While atop Snowy Mountain, Dora, Boots, and Tico don't wear any snow gear and are able to handle the snow just fine.
  • Failure Montage: Swiper tries numerous ways to get across Crocodile Lake by using a pole vault and then a trampoline, they both result in failure.
  • Foreign Language Title: "¡Rápido, Tico!" is Spanish for "Fast Tico".
  • Lost Toy Grievance: Boots when he finds out that his fire truck is missing.
  • MacGuffin: Boot's fire truck.
  • Near-Villain Victory: By the time they get to the fire truck, Swiper attempts to swipe it. Luckily, they say Swiper, No Swiping! which causes Swiper to roll down Snowy Mountain.
  • Poke the Poodle: Happens twice in this episode. The first time is when Swiper swipes the steering wheel for Tico's car and the second time is when Swiper takes the rails off the tracks.
  • Race Against the Clock: Dora and Boots have to reach Snowy Mountain to retrieve the fire truck before Swiper swipes and hides it.
  • Stalker Shot: When Boots is freaking out after hearing from Map that his fire truck is on Snowy Mountain and Dora reassures him, Swiper appears behind the tree, hearing everything the two said so he knows where it is. The two are suddenly alerted to his presence, prompting them to get to the fire truck before Swiper.
  • Throw the Dog a Bone: As mentioned above, Swiper swipes Tico's steering wheel.
