Dora and Boots are beckoned by an odd noise that they keep hearing. So they come to investigate.

- Deus ex Machina: Right as Boots asks Dora how they're going to get the Blue boat, Tico shows up at the other side of the river.
- Don't Wake the Sleeper: Moments after arriving at the Quiet Forest, Dora and Boots come upon Swiper peacefully napping on the ground in their path, whom they manage to get around by tiptoeing.
- Stock Audio Clip: This episode is notable for being the first to use the exact same soundbite of Swiper exclaiming "Oh, man!" at the end of the intro sequence, which would later be used for a majority of the series.
- No Indoor Voice: Dora explains what soft and loud sounds are at the beginning.
