Having survived the snow, the Trux now find themselves in a field of ice.
Tropes:
- Big Damn Heroes: The Pteracopters arrive just in time to save the day, getting rid of the Stealth Scrapadactyls and promptly airlifting the Dinotrux to safety.
- A Crack in the Ice: The Picktools try to help the Dinotrux out by indicating where the ice is the thickest.
- Epic Hail: Almost completely frozen up and under attack by Arctic Scraptors and Stealth Scrapadactyls, the group decide to call on the nearby Pteracopters for help using a giant ice prism powered by all of their high beams as a beacon.
- Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: The Picktools appear to be trying to break the ice and sink the Trux, but Revvit eventually realizes what they are actually doing is testing the ice and marking out a safe path.
- Not So Stoic: Like with the pit before, George's attempts to wax poetically and be at peace with his situation falter slightly when he's comes extremely close to danger.George: Cold is just a state of- (George slips a bit into the water) C-c-cold!!
- Tempting Fate: Dozer manages to "It can't get any worse" into the arrival of Scraptors and/or Scrapadactyls several times.Dozer: This can't get any worse!
(A Stealth Scrapadactyl sight locks onto Dozer)
Dozer: I should be quiet.
(Arctic Scraptors also show up)
Dozer: Arctic Scraptors? Where'd they com from?
Ty: They must have tracked us!
Ton-Ton: I think they're working as a team!
Dozer: I'm not gonna say anything ever again.
