The Dinotrux get caught outside during a sandstorm, which spells trouble for them as they are seized up and rendered easy prey for Scraptors.

- Deadly Dust Storm: Especially for machine lifeforms like the Dinotrux, who get locked up from sand getting in all of their parts.
- Does Not Know His Own Strength: When playing Patunk, Ty has trouble with hitting the ball either too hard (to the point of destroying it) or too softly.
- Fictional Sport: Patunk appears to be a cross between golf and a race; everyone takes turns for their opening shot, and after that, whoever gets to their ball first is the one that gets to shoot next; whoever sinks their ball first is the winner.
