- Adaptational Villainy: Played with. This Archnemon is a far cry from the Ineffectual Sympathetic Villain in Digimon Adventure 02 and a Serial Killer with a penchant for eating brains. This is in actuality, closer to the species' portrayal in the Digimon Reference Book, making it a Truer to the Text example.
- Mysterious Watcher: When GulusGammamon reverted back to Gammamon, a mysterious Digimon was watching from the shadows. But this time, It was a Black Gargomon.
- Serial Killer: Unlike Sealsdramon who actively kills Digimon, Archnemon kills humans, with at least 2 victims on screen.
