Emily finds that Moss didn't know about the eugenic virus. She informs her lawyer and then the president. Isabel is upset about maybe having helped Aaron win the vice-presidency. Kirkman wins. Isabel calls Aaron out for never taking her seriously. Emily is disappointed in Tom, and reports Miles Lee and Lorraine Zimmer's espionage. Mars encourages Lynn to run for Senator of Virginia.

Tropes

  • All Love Is Unrequited: Emily's lawyer gives her the "old flame" discount. When Emily objects that they were never together, he tells her it just wasn't requited.
  • Artistic License – Medicine: Kirkman's psychologist is awfully judgmental.
  • The Bus Came Back: Kirkman's therapist from season two returns for this episode.
