  • Aside Glance: After making a British joke that gets his dad, the Rowdy Hooligans and Sector E to laugh, Numbuh 1 looks directly at the camera as he admits:
Numbuh 1: And I have no idea what I just said.
  • Combat Tentacles: The female member of Sector E uses a scarf this way.
  • Everybody Has Standards: Played with. Numbuh 1 is baffled when the British KND and the British agents of the DCFDTL get chummy with one another at the end of the day and decide to go for an amicable outing. To this, the British KND leader points out that unlike their American counterparts who begrudge their enemies outside of KND matters, they uphold a standard where they separate work from play, so to speak.
  • Foreshadowing: This episode has the first mention of the Book of KND.
  • Go-Karting with Bowser: At the end, Sector E and the Rowdy Hooligans go out for drinks together. Although Numbuh 1 was incredulous at the idea, he and his father decided to join in anyway.
  • Heritage Disconnect: Since Nigel was raised in America, he has a hard time understanding British slang.
  • Not so Dire: The mysterious book Numbuh 1's been tasked to get to the library? Just an ordinary book, and it needed to be returned before closing.
  • Poor Communication Kills:
    • For the majority of the episode, Numbuh 1 believed the kids being friendly and helpful to him were the British KND while the ones chasing him were enemy agents. In the climax, he finds out it was the other way around...the ones chasing him were Sector E while the ones treating him civilly were DCFDTL agents.
    • This also applies to the reason Numbuh 1 was being chased. Sector E had received intel that the Book of KND had been stolen from the library. When it's revealed that the book Numbuh 1 was carrying was simply a Rainbow Monkey book, Sector E's leader figured the intel was a bit dodgey.
Numbuh 1: Dodgey?! Try completely wrong!
  • Separated by a Common Language: Numbuh 1 can't make heads or tails of British slang which is lampshaded by the episode's title.
