Mung allows Chowder to cook a dish by himself. Chowder chooses to make Burple Nurples.
- Answer Cut: Mung asks himself why he put the rat poison in the spice cabinet to begin with. A rat the size of a Volkswagon walks by and he says, "Oh yeah, that's why."
- Disguised in Drag: Mung resorts to this at one point. He does indeed make for an ugly lady.
- Overly Long Gag: "Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase..."
- Poor Communication Kills: Since this is Chowder's first time cooking he wants to do it all himself without help from Mung. When Mung tries to tell Chowder he accidently added poison to the recipe, Chowder won't give him a word edgewise when he thinks his mentor doesn't think he can cook anything by himself.
