Brandon doesn't do well in what used to be his best subject and gets so insecure he considers cheating like Steve, and yells at his teacher. He also fights with Andrea about it as she's better at the subject and is disappointed in him when he might cheat. Meanwhile, Brenda and Dylan start flirting, leading her to dye her hair with disastrous results. However, Dylan doesn't care and offers to get her a free session with a stylist, and she rides with Dylan on his bike.

When she goes on a run and happens upon Dylan, she playfully confronts the blonde thing and Dylan in turn playfully flirts with Brenda.
- Andrea and Brandon. When Andrea has a better handle on the school subject than he does, Brandon picks a fight and they have a fiery argument before Andrea storms out. Brenda overhears and teases Brandon, aware of the subtext.
