As a deranged Malware launches his final attack on Galvan Prime, Ben must deal with a past failure.

- Back from the Dead: Ben regains Feedback after he finally forgives himself for what happened.
- Call-Back: When Gwen expresses surprise that Khyber's dog is a girl, Kevin jokes, "You didn't pay much attention in health class, did you?"
- Genocide from the Inside: Malware almost succeeds in doing this to the Galvanic Mechamorphs.
- He's Back!: "Hey, everybody! Did you miss me?"
- Post-Victory Collapse: After using the energy of the Helix to put an end to Malware, an exhausted Feedback drops to his knees before reverting back into Ben.Ben: Now that was a total rush.
- Samus Is a Girl: After deciding to adopt Khyber's dog, Kevin reveals that he is actually a she.
- Wham Episode: Ben regains the Feedback transformation and Malware is defeated.
- Wham Shot: After a massive blast of energy bursts out of Malware's head, we see Ben climbing out… in the form of Feedback.
- You Are Better Than You Think You Are: We get two in quick succession.
- A flashback shows Azmuth, in his own way, giving a pep talk along these lines to young Ben not long after he lost Feedback.Azmuth: You know, you've been doing an awful lot of winning since you took possession of my Omnitrix.
Young Ben: So?Azmuth: So, you don't learn anything when you win, Ben Tennyson. Losing this transformation you call "Feedback" was hard, wasn't it?Young Ben: Yeah. It felt like he was a part of me.
Azmuth: (Starts to leave) Well, you can let that one loss define you from now on… (looks back and smiles at him) or you can learn from it.
(16-year-old Ben watches him leave as the memory ends) - Reliving this memory is what makes Ben finally realize that he needs to forgive himself for what happened 5 years ago.Young Ben: Did you?
Ben: Huh? You can see me now?
Young Ben: Did you learn from it?
Ben: …Yeah, that losing bites.
Young Ben: Oh… (looks down)
Ben: Look, I don't think there's any big takeaway from our big fail back then.
Young Ben: Guess you're still mad at me, huh?
Ben: Dude, no, I'm mad at... (sighs) You know what? Maybe I gotta forgive you… uh, slash me.
Young Ben: You do?
Ben: Yeah. We're not losers. Beating ourselves up is just doing a favor for Malware and everyone else we ever go up against! So from now on, let's save the beat downs for the bad guys. Deal?
(Young Ben smiles up at him and the two shake hands as both of their Omnitrixes start to glow)
