GOB's plan to disappear during a magic show on his wedding day goes very wrong.George and Lucille get a fake divorce, with George moving to the desert with Oscar and getting a business idea, and Lucille staying at home with Buster. After months of house arrest with nobody but Buster to keep her company, Lucille's relationship with her son begins to sour.
The Arrested Development episode "Just Deserters" provides examples of:
