Summary

The stick figures have to build a new house in which they live, with Red having two parrots. One day, he wakes up and see the textures of his parrots and others blocks and items changing. He quickly notices a folder moving and goes to investigate, discovering Yellow playing with the Minecraft's texture files. Initially he tries to stop him, but then decides to join the fun, until they both notice the mess they caused.

Instead of returning everything back to normal, however, they decide to switch the blocks in order to make everything look normal and pull a prank on their friends. When the others wake up they discover the mess and realise that Yellow is behind this, making them think that everything is caused by one of his inventions, when actually both Yellow and Red are just changing the textures. Red paints everything black and starts drawing monsters, and also changing the texture of the parrots to look like vexes. The three victims of the prank try to escape, but then notice the folder and realizing what is actually going one they start to fight the other two, until Yellow blows up some TNTs on the folder, causing an even huger mess, so much that they just decide to go along with the chaos instead of trying to fix everything.

Tropes

  • Chekhov's Gun: The morning after Red and Yellow mix everything up, Blue tries to pour a potion into his cauldron, only to drop the bottle in, revealing from the resulting music that the bottle and cauldron are actually a music disk and jukebox respectively. He later uses this trick to calm down the "vexes" (actually Red's parrots in disguise) attacking Green.
  • Improbable Accessory Effect: Because all the textures are scrambled, all of the items have weird effects.
    • During the post-prank brawl, Second Coming and Yellow have a sword duel using eggs, Red uses a cooked mutton chop to deflect Blue's arrows — reskinned to clownfish shot from a clownfish bucket — and Yellow ignites a grass block with a sapling to bomb the battlefield.
    • During the final scene, the textures have become even more scrambled. Second Coming wakes up and drinks a lava bucket, which can be combined with gunpowder, minecarts, and a zombie spawn egg to provide a TNT-textured cake, each slice of it now a stick of dynamite. Yellow brings down a boatful of swords to their banquet, which the sticks then start eating. And the table is arranged to have a saddle, slime ball, and music disc each, but what's supposed to be the cutlery and what's supposed to be food is an exercise left up to the viewer.
  • Oh, Crap!: Yellow and Red have this reaction when they realize that they've rearranged the textures so much that they can't tell what's what anymore.
  • World of Chaos: Rather than trying to fix the textures, the other sticks decide to simply learn what everything looks like now and carry on with it, resulting in TNT-textured cake and carrots that look like swords, among others.
