Summary
The stick figures are wandering in the cave until TSC, Red and Yellow are kidnapped by some spiders. Blue and Green follow them and discover that the spiders are bringing them to their queen as food. They save them and each stick figure rushes to a minecart. The spiders follow them with more minecarts, but the stickfigures use their abilities and wits to fight them, reaching the portal. However, the Spider Queen decide to took the matters into her own... legs and quickly ties all the FSF, leaving TSC. While she was going to attack him, however, a Wither comes out of the portal and start attacking her, giving the Stickmen time to escape. They return to the Nether, and from there, they were able to fight their way back to the PC and finally destroy the Nether Portal.Tropes
- Chase Fight: As soon as they escape being fed to the Spider King, they jump in a minecart, and the spiders give pursuit in their minecarts.
- Deus ex Machina: Once it looks like the Spider King is about to defeat the Second Coming and his friends, a Wither comes out of a portal with no explanation to attack the Spider King, allowing the Second Coming and his friends to escape.
- Hope Spot: Early on in the chase, the Stick Gang take out a minecart train full of spiders with a TNT cart. The gang celebrates until their cart emerges from a tunnel to show more spiders in carts, followed by an even bigger train of spiders.
- Insect Queen: The Spider King serves as the antagonist.
- Offscreen Moment of Awesome: The stick figures managed to fight their way through the Nether monsters offscreen.
- Season Finale: The final episode of Season 1 along with the arc that started with "The Nether".
- Tantrum Throwing: The monarch of the spider army throws its crown on the ground in annoyance upon being told the army failed to defeat the stick figures. Of course, after it sets out to do the job itself, it webs the crown back.
- We Are Not Going Through That Again: The stick figures just barely manage to escape the grasp of the monarch spider and a whole lot of Nether creatures. Shortly after returning to the Animator's desktop, they sigh deeply, turn back to the Nether portal they just exited from, and hurriedly destroy it with diamond pickaxes before stopping to catch their breaths, clearly done with portals for the time being.
