After playing a Monopoly-like board game, Julien, fascinated by the idea of money, decides to introduce money to the kingdom.
Tropes:
- A Fool and His New Money Are Soon Parted: The lemurs are all extremely poor with money and it doesn't take long before everyone is broke.
- Brief Accent Imitation: Clover briefly imitates Julien's accent as she has a rant about him promising to play by the rules.
- The Game Never Stopped: Mort assumed that the money was just an extension of the board game, so once he has everything there is to own in the kingdom, he simply declares himself the winner and gives everything back as the game is now over.
- Money Fetish: Mort develops one, mostly because the money has King Julien's image printed on it.
