Holly: [eyeing the trombone] What on earth...?
Jacob: Ohhh, we can explain... sort of.
Holly: Uh-huh. You know, I really don't think you should play jokes like this on Gloria.
Jacob: Huh?
Iggy: Huh?
Holly: Well, it's very funny, but I think you'd better put it back together before she gets home.
Iggy and Jacob: [in unison] Huh?
Holly: Oh, we're going to play it like that, are we? Okay, maybe I'd better put it back together. Knowing you two, you'd probably try some other trick.
[Holly removes the string and the tape, then puts the slide back on the trombone.]
Iggy and Jacob: [in unison] What?
Holly: You and your jokes.
[Iggy and Jacob stare at the trombone, then at each other.]
Iggy: [forcing a laugh] Laugh, Jacob.
[Iggy and Jacob both laugh weakly.]
Holly, Under the Umbrella Tree, "The Trombone"

Ted: He’s an arrogant so-and-so, isn’t he? I mean, a player like Gates, he knows it’s against the rules and regulations not to declare a gratuity, so what does it say about him that he doesn’t even bother his arse to fill in the form?
Steve: Well, with respect, what’s a free breakfast got to do with investigating Gates’ crime figures?
Ted: Well, sooner or later, he’s gonna know we’re onto him. This way, he thinks it’s just a Storm in a Teacup. Or should that be a coffee cup? I’ll give him laughing all over his face at us. His guard’s down. That’s how we’re going to get him, Steve.
