"RUN"
Foxo's Fun Schoolhouse is strife with horror quite a lot, and it doesn't pull punches, even by Baldi's Basics standards.

As this is a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked.

  • Foxo in general.
    • Right from the get-go, when you see Foxo, he pretty much screams Uncanny Valley, with a pretty weird design and a Synthetic Voice Actor, which can be slightly jarring in comparison to other games of its kind.
    • Most of the game has you Alone with the Psycho, and that makes the entire main campaign all the more scary to go through.
    • Whether or not Foxo is the only threat present, he makes up for it with a multitude of actions to really screw you over. For example, he can make big leaps to cover more distance than a normal slap movement, he can teleport to cut you off if need be, and he'll even smash down doors if he has to just to kill you.
    • The only thing that will outright stop him in his tracks is a fire extinguisher, which causes him to stop in place and scream loudly until the effect subsides. What makes it jarring is that this is the ONLY non-synthetic voice to come from Foxo in the entire game.
  • At the end of the Tutorial, the game invites you to get some free Foxo O's (which will likely be the first item you get in the game. When you get close enough, the floor collapses under you as a scream is heard, followed by an abrupt Smash to Black.
  • At the beginning of the Chaos level, you see an angry Foxo say "Get some better grades" as he slinks into the floor. Oh, and don't think that's just a suggestion, by the way. If you don't have good enough grades by the final judgement, he will not take it well.
  • The levels in general get creepier and creepier as you descend deeper into the building, to the point that the Wrath level is a full-out Blackout Basement. Oh, and that level has a shadow version of Foxo on your trail for good measure.
  • The STOP difficulty, full stop.
    • Right as you first access it, you're treated to a space land with glitchy Foxos all around you. Touching one of them (which one you touch determines the first level you go to) is the only way to get back out.
    • The first of the STOP levels takes place in an altered version of the schoolhouse, where you need to beat a small minigame to get the key back out. Simple enough, right? But once you meet the requirements, a glitched Foxo breaks through the floor with the key and pursues you on your way back out, the piano track getting more and more hectic the longer you take. Worse, this thing is WAY faster than you, meaning you have to manuever carefully to escape safely.
      • Worse still, a whole ARMY of these things return for the Final Boss, as one of Foxo's attacks.
    • The second level takes place outdoors, with a new glitched Foxo pursuing you, emitting glass-breaking sounds with each move it makes. It's also really dark in this level, so have fun.
    • The third level is in an abandoned art gallery with yet another glitched Foxo chasing you, and you have to steal 5 paintings to buy your freedom.
    • The fourth and penultimate level of this batch is in a cave, which can be really worrying for anyone who's claustrophobic. The "artifacts" you need to grab are a variety of glitchy Foxo heads, and the last glitched Foxo pursues you all throughout.
      • After you finally escape, the glitched Foxo lets out a demonic scream as it disappears. However, things aren't over just yet, as the bridge under you collapses...
    • The final level commences with the instruction simply reading "RUN". Not long into it, Foxo starts pursuing you at high speeds, so you need to be quick to reach the arena.
  • Foxo's One-Winged Angel form is pitch-black with multiple arms and glowing white eyes, and he speaks in a distorted version of his Synthetic Voice Actor voice, making it more uncanny for something that's otherwise an epic The Dog Bites Back moment for you.
