Nightmare Fuel / Dragon Ball Z: Dynasty

• Frieza, even more so in canon. His complete sadism and bad boss tendencies are shown more often, and with greater detail.
• Like in canon, everything about Gohan going super Saiyan 2. His first act? Breaking a Cell jr in HALF, then throwing it at Cell, while holding it by the spine. His only response? Asking Cell if “that was the spine you meant he had that I didn’t.” Before punching Cell in the gut hard enough to go THROUGH him, and grab Cell by the spine, asking if he meant that one, instead.
• Compared to canon, Gohan is far less sadistic, despite how much more brutal he is to Cell. Because he is literally forcing all the rage he’s feeling to stay down until after Cell is dead. But for the one moment he lets some of it out, he gives Cell an utterly terrifying death glare, that, combined with his breaking speech to Cell, makes Cell call him a monster. Gohan actually pauses to consider that… before shrugging it off completely and continuing on.
• King Cold is utterly terrifying. While his canon version is a Smug Snake who Trunks kills in one hit, here he can take on multiple Super Saiyans and Great Apes at once, has shapeshifting powers that allow him to take a One-Winged Angel form and has Combo Platter Powers with his ki. He's perfectly calm and collected even when the Saiyans confront him, showing that he's in full control of everything around him and there's a very good reason nobody dares to question him.
