Godzilla: Vengeance Rising is a Godzilla fanfic written by RedstonePrime in 2017 and the first installment of the KTG series. It follows the story of an ex-millitary soldier trying uncover the truth behind a series of attacks. However, he soon finds that the culprit is someone he trusted closely, leading to him uncovering a large conspiracy.

- Even Evil Has Standards: Harry Lloyd, despite helping Jeremy Goldberg elliminate Kaiju, still tries to avoid civillian casualties and even calls out Jeremy when the latter causes a mass terrorist attack on the city of Tokyo.
- Heroic BSoD: William falls into one towards the end after finding out his own girlfriend is working for Jeremy Goldberg.
- Improbable Aiming Skills: During the ariel chase in chapter 4, William manages to fire his Arm Cannon between two jets, causing them to explode [spoiler: all while standing on top of a flying dragon]].
- The Mole: Conrad Dragonus acts as this towards the KTG at least until his Heel–Face Turn.
- "The Reason You Suck" Speech: Harry Lloyd calls Jeremy out after the latter attacks the city of Tokyo, killing many innocents in the process.Jeremy: Brian, what are you doing?
Harry: I know what you did to these people, Jeremy! You manipulated them!
Jeremy: Remember whose side you're on, Harry Lloyd!
Harry: I know whose side I'm on, and it will not be yours!
Jeremy: And why is that?
Harry: Because I've watched too many of my men die for your selfish goals! I won't stand for any of it! I know who you truly are, Ghidorah!
