In true Love Live fashion, the series wastes no time in shipping Kanon and Keke together.

• Keke stated that she became interested in Kanon as a school idol after listening to her sing.
• After letting out her insecurities, Kanon asks Keke to call her by her first name without honorifics.
• For the rest of the series, Keke worships Kanon and turns to her at crucial events.

Sumire x Keke

Sumire, in general, cares a lot about Keke while Keke is seen as a Tsundere for Sumire.

• Season 1 Episode 5 had lots of Sumire and Keke moments including Sumire blowing into Keke's ears (and is framed like a kiss, see the page image) and them sharing a bed together.
• Season 1 Episode 10 also had a lot of moments for this ship with Keke making a princess costume (complete with tiara) for Sumire, and her utter confidence at Sumire as their center for the upcoming Love Live round. Keke also starts saying Sumire's name without honorifics.
• Season 2 Episode 9 has Sumire finally confessing her true feelings to Keke, that she wants to be school idols with her for the entirety of their high school life and because Keke saved her in Season 1, she wants to do everything she can so that Keke's dreams come true. In return, Keke acknowledges Sumire's care for her while saying that she really hates her but she also likes her as they tearfully hug in front of everyone.

Kanon x Chisato

There's also a lot of moments between Kanon and Chisato to the point that fans are claiming that the franchise-wide "childhood friend curse" has been broken.

• During childhood, Kanon is the Bully Hunter for the kids picking at Chisato.
• One of Chisato's precious things is a hair tie she received from Kanon.
• Kanon went from Kozushima Island back to Tokyo within a day, just so she can support Chisato in her dance competition.
• Chisato cares a lot about Kanon and Season 1 Episode 11 happened because she wants Kanon to face her previous insecurities at singing.

Shiki x Mei

Fans have been shipping these two ever since their introduction.

• Shiki's introduction flat-out states that one of her favorite things is Mei.
• People pointed out that they have complementing colors of red and blue for their hair and eyes.
• In the Season 2 ending credits, Shiki properly fixes the tie on Mei; an act that is associated with the Yuri Genre. Later on, Mei feeds Shiki her strawberry, complete with the usual embarrassed Tsundere look while Shiki is smiling.
• Fans have noticed that their entire focus episode (Season 2 Episode 4) feels like a yuri oneshot, especially with the Intertwined Fingers scene being more tender than the usual examples in the franchise. Shiki is also willing to be alone without Mei if it gets Mei to pursue her school idol dreams, living up to the saying "if you love someone, let them go".
• This pair straddles the line between text and subtext in Season 2 Episode 7 where Shiki gets jealous at the possibility of Mei dating Ren. Near the end of the episode, Mei clears up the misunderstanding and thanks Shiki for being worried about her. Shiki could only blush in return and collapses in relief. Later on, Mei gives Shiki a piggyback ride home.
• Shiki and Mei's first solo songs, Glass Ball Rejection and Akane Kokoro, have this in spades. Apart from lines in both songs referencing each other, the bridges of both songs are identical in both melody and instruments, with only the lyrics being different.
