Heartwarming / The Three Friends... and Jerry

• Say what you want about their relationship with Jerry, but it's clear Frank, Thomas and Eric are True Companions. Casual teasing and backstabbing aside, the three are very protective of each other.
• At the end of "Ant Hill", the Three Friends make an improvised funeral march for Jerry, whom they believe has been hospitalized. Sure, the one hospitalized was his mother, but it's nice to see the three doing something good for Jerry for once.
• Jerry's treatment of his ants. He treats them with the utmost care, keeping them in farms and feeding them ketchup. And as "Circus" and "My Friend is an Ant" show, they love him back.
• Jerry's parents celebrating their anniversary in "The Snowball Fight". Bonus points for the P.E Teacher, who looks happy for once as he gets his wife's favorite perfume.
• Even though the episode ends in a huge "Shaggy Dog" Story, it's sweet that the Antus Bisarrium ant from "My Friend is an Ant" adores Jerry, enough to break free from its cage and go back to him.
• Simon forgiving Frank for the awful way he was treated for all of "Country Cousin". Frank is almost moved to tears that someone would like to be at his side.
  • And since Simon isn't scared of him, he's actually his friend, not just going along with what he says because he intimidates them (like Thomas and Eric) or for approval (like Jerry). We last see the cousins spending the night together and Frank looks like he's having fun.
  • Easy to miss, but Frank offhandedly mentions Simon in "Forbidden Fruit", implying they keep in touch.
• The Johnson Brothers praising Jerry for his gorilla suit in "Costume Party", especially after he got mocked by the Three Friends for it. He even gets a chance to be on stage with them!
• The end of "Romeo and Juliet". After an episode of Hillary trying to kiss Jerry, she finally gets her chance after Linda fell sick and she gets to play Juliet. What's more, Jerry ends up enjoying the kiss and tries to call her later that night.
  • Thomas and Eric trying to thaw a frozen Frank is quite sweet.
• Linda, Tess and Mimmi rushing to comfort a devastated Jerry after the death of the robot dog in "Stray Dog".
• The implications that Tess showed the photo of baby Linda instead of the photo of the naked Three Friends in "Girls Clothes" because she didn't want to humilliate Eric on his birthday.
  • Even though Jerry suffered through the episode because he didn't want Eric to discover the surprise party, we last see him playing with the preschool girls and having fun. Sure, he was Dragged into Drag, but he looks genuinely happy.
• The friendship between Linda and Gerry in "Miss Jerry". Sure, Jerry is forced to out himself as a boy so that she could win the beauty contest and ends up getting in trouble for it. But Linda now appreciates Jerry a lot more than she did before. Or at least until the next season, cause Status Quo Is God.
• After Frank is made fun of by Thomas's dancing partners for his appearance in "Dance Mania", Thomas responds by angrily banging the table and defending him. What's more is that he could have chosen to enter the contest with them, as they're more talented, but he thought his friends were more important.
  Thomas: Don't talk that way to my friend!
• It is rather sweet to see the P.E Teacher happy as Jerry accidentally wins the macho contest in "Curing Phobias". When He Smiles indeed.
