No, really. Even in a show as insane as this there's heartwarming moments.

  • In season 2, episode 4 "The Beast of Both Worlds" a scientist invents a "Love Detector" that can supposedly tell if you truly love someone or not. Using it, a man discovers he's in love with his mailwoman. She agrees to partake in an experiment to see if she can literally force herself to love him back. In spite of all logic and reason, it somehow works. Which in turn makes the man stop loving her for releasing he basically made her a hore and could not understand what to think. They go on with a relationship, but the man is forced to hide the Love Detector's negative results, piling them up in his closet until its full, and then *eating them*. The woman walks in on him doing this. Except instead of getting mad or upset, she helps him eat the negative test results too as a gesture of total forgiveness. This action drastically changes the man's feelings yet again, but before the Love Detector can create a new result, the woman unplugs the machine and throws it out the window. They hug, and it becomes clear: it doesn't matter what the machine says, they're in love.
