- The Father-Daughter career day in Episode 4. George tries to relate to and impress Alex in his own sweet, bumbling way. At the end of the episode George then tells Alex he really loved spending the day with her. It is just a sweet bonding moment.
- Dave not revealing Alex's secret.
- Dave: [watching from a distance] Don't worry, Alex. Your secret is safe with me.
- And then he goes a step further in the finale with warning the FDA of Danielle's wrongdoings, allowing them to arrive just in time to arrest her before she could escape to continue her plans.
- Alex and Dave meeting at last in the finale with Alex thanking Dave for everything he did to save her, followed by a hug.
- Alex giving her hat to Annie just before she leaves for college.
