Arc 1
Chapter 1: New School, New Friends
- On her first day of school at St. James, Luz meets Anne and they quickly bond over the similarities of said meeting with their favorite TV show. As a result, Anne invites Luz to sit with them at lunch with her and her friends.
- Luz also forms an immediate friendship with Marcy, both girls ecstatic at meeting another "Good Witch Azura" fan.
Chapter 10: Birthday Box
- Marcy asking Luz about what happened at the dance, learning that Luz is bisexual, and assuring Luz that it doesn't change who she is. Notably, Marcy is the first person to be tolerant of Luz coming out.
Arc 2
Chapter 20: Mist Reunion
- On both sides, Anne and Luz respectively tell Wally and Lilly about their friendship and fallout, and in response, they give some reassurance and comfort as well as encouragement to make amends.

Chapter 26: The Battle of Tadpole Pond!
Chapter 30: Reconciliation
- After three months of worrying and a fake-out reunion, Luz and Anne make amends with each other, spending the whole chapter swapping stories of their adventures, catching up, and ultimately coming to terms on the possibility of a relationship between them.
- The trailer for Arc 4 includes a detail not featured in the actual chapter: when Luz takes Anne's hand to stand up, Anne is said to be blushing from the contact.
One-Shots
Bonding Through Grief
- Camila and Mae learn about Luz kissing Anne at the dance a week after the girls vanished. Although they assume both girls are gay, they admit they would've accepted this chewing Ms. Bryant out for insulting their daughters.
Arc 4
Chapter 31: The First Temple
- Hop Pop makes everyone chocopede pancakes as his way of welcoming Luz as their guest.
- The second Marcy sees Luz after arriving at the Plantar residence, she tackles her into a hug the same way Anne did her when they reunited. Both girls are relieved to see each other again and Marcy becomes even happier to learn that Luz and Anne are friends again, pulling them into a group hug.
Chapter 32: Frobo and the Toads
- The fact that Luz and Marcy are now roommates since they decide to bunk in the fwagon during their stay in Wartwood.
- Luz bonding with Sprig and Polly, with the siblings giving her relationship advice. While Polly attempts to extort Luz for ways to impress Anne, Sprig genuinely offers to help her for no cost, bringing up how Anne helped him develop a relationship with Ivy. Sprig's basically trying to repay his best friend for getting him a girlfriend by trying to get her one of her own.
- Seeing Luz unconscious after driving off Bog, Anne picks her up into her arms and carries her home bridal-style. The little smile Luz gives means she knows Anne's there for her.
Chapter 33: Maddie, Marcy, and Luz
Chapter 34: The Second Temple
- Forced to choose between giving up the music box to Valeriana to save Luz or keep the box and let Valeriana drop Luz off the temple, Anne gives it up refusing to lose one of her best friends again. And when Luz confesses about her Calamity powers, Anne pulls her into a hug, relieved that she's okay.
Chapter 38: The Fourth Temple
- Marcy asking Luz to watch The Crystal Crown of Tantamor on her phone with her, as she never had a chance to watch it.
Chapter 39: Dinner and a Show
- Mirroring "Hopping Mall", Luz opens up to Sprig about how her dad died when she was young, mentioning how little she remembers him. Like Anne did before, Sprig gives Luz a hug for comfort.
True Colors (Part 2)
- As dark as Anne's anger towards Sasha gets, everyone knows it's all because she's terrified for Luz and hugs her when she starts crying. Sprig reassures Anne that Luz will pull through.
- Having come to terms with if she wants to date Luz, Anne kisses her cheek while she's unconscious, telling her to wake up so she can give Luz her answer.

- Getting Luz alone in the Thai Temple garden, Anne gets her to open up about her recent insecurities, comforting her and saying she's not a burden.
Two Worlds, Two Families
- The beginning of Marcy and Amity's friendship has its moments, so to speak.
- After Marcy starts crying from remembering everything leading up to her impalement, Amity showing her a light spell. Once Marcy learns she's a witch, Amity sees her smile for the first time since meeting her, which Amity thinks is bright and beautiful.
- The girls discover they're Good Witch Azura fans and once Amity mentions only having the first four books in the series, Marcy immediately offers to lend her her fifth volume.
- After yelling at Marcy and causing her to fall into an even worse breakdown over her actions, Amity becomes guilt-ridden and apologizes, lifting Marcy's spirits by talking shop about Azura.
- After waking up from their shared dream, the girls lock eyes. Even though Amity can't see her mouth because of the oxygen mask, Marcy smiles at her before falling unconscious again.
- As a sign of respect, the Boonchuys take the Plantars to the cemetery where Manny is buried so they can join the Nocedas in paying their respects to him.
What If?
What if...Anne only wanted to be Friends?
- Despite not becoming a couple, Luz and Anne still remain good friends and even after Amphibia are still able to remain good friends (compared to Sasha drifting away from both of them and Marcy moving away).
- Seeing Luz and Amity becoming a couple in this timeline is every bit as sweet as it was in canon Owl House especially with Anne's support on the couple.
What If...Sasha had left Toad Tower?
- Even though she has feelings for Anne, Luz has come to forgive Sasha by the time the girls reach Newtopia and gives her the okay to date Anne when they get home. This gives Sasha the encouragement to stand up to Belos and reject his "help".
