  • As tragic as it is for Amira when she finds out the true purpose for her existence, let alone seeing the state her mother is in when they finally do meet, it is very touching that when Amira finally gets to hug her mother, she momentarily calms out of her abuse-induced madness and takes comfort in her child's embrace.
  • Amira and Favaro parting ways in the last episode. Despite differing opinions on their relationship, their goodbye to each other and their Last Kiss was very sweet to watch.
  • Jeanne and El reuniting in heaven, in Virgin Soul episode 15. And even more so, when Azazel and Mugaro finally reunite.
  • Amira's message to Favaro in the final episode of Virgin Soul. What also moves it to Tear Jerker territory is the manner in which the message was delivered. Nina lost her voice and can only write in the sand. As Favaro slowly reads each of the inscribed words, he tries to close his eyes and hide his tears just as the last word is written.
Nina: She wishes you the best.
  • The sight of Jeanne d'Arc and Azazel visiting Mugaro's grave, while placing their respective mementos to the boy. If one deciphers the text inscribed on the stone, it reads "El Mugaro d'Arc", acknowledging all the names given to him.
