  • A very slight one in the final episode. Brian's spent the past series manipulating Jerry into running the club the way he wants, but when the ban's lifted he decides Jerry's the best man for the job after all. Naturally he ruins the moment by interrupting Jerry seconds into his thank you speech
  • Season One had an ever bigger one. During a alternate comedy night, Jerry had a prolonged heated confrontation with a belligerent student, who was heckling Jerry. Eventually, the student loses his temper and pushes Jerry, prompting Brian to stick up for Jerry claiming "You push [Jerry], you push me". Les, Alan, Max, Paddy and Kenny Senior all stick up for Jerry too, but it's most important that Brian being the first to defend Jerry despite earlier criticising Jerry.
