• Shorty delivering a pep talk to Ashley after she had bombed during a stand-up comedy routine in Vegas.
• In the final episode of the third season, Ashley deciding to stay with Shorty despite being offered a position on a tour with her improv troop, and his reaction to her telling him. That if nothing else should prove that Shorty is a good person despite his rough edges.
• Hercules being reunited with Nirvana, the sister he hadn't seen since the two were puppies during the trip to Las Vegas. Seeing the two running and playing together would melt even the coldest of hearts.
