• Crocell's relationship with his family servant Marith. When they run into each other in Abazet, Marith herself having just arrived, they are both surprised and relieved to see the other alive. Marith is nothing but respectful to her master, while the often-abrasive Crocell shows a softer and gentler side to her, assuring her that her safety is the most important thing to him and making sure that she gets some rest.
  • Even during the crew's Fugitive Arc, Marith leaves Abazet to reunite with Crocell to help him however she can, even if he's been declared one of the "enemies of the world".
• During the return to Highwind Island, when Zephie takes a hit from Belial for Juto, leaving her paralysed, Juto (in not as few words) finally tells her to stop pushing herself for no benefit, and to stop apologizing for stuff that's his fault. Zephie is so stunned that someone not named Rue got so mad at her, that she can't help but laugh, relieved that Juto is addressing her not as a princess, but as herself. This moment leads to Juto finally calling Zephie by her nickname from that point onward.
  • The fireflies cutscene, where Juto carrying Zephie out of the Caverns is interrupted by the group of fireflies illuminating the cave. "[A] magical sight," indeed, Juto.
