    Season 2

Sea of the Beginning

  • Chapter 98:
    • Father Brasse intervenes as Shinobu is about to deliver the final blow to Crocell in a fit of rage. He reminds Shinobu that being a hero is not about showcasing one's power or allowing hatred to rule one's heart. Shinobu calms down and breaks down in tears. Brasse goes on to explain that a hero's true power lies in their ability to protect those around them, as Mutenmaru embodies. He adds that Mutenmaru wields his sword not just to protect his friends but also his enemies.
    • After arriving with a group of heroes to save people from the destruction of the building of Megadis, Anchor Sam checks on Father Brasse, calling him a friend, and asks if he's okay.
    • Crocell asks Anchor Sam why he saved his life, even though he was the source of evil in Megapolis. Anchor Sam responds by extending his hand to Crocell and saying that it's because he is a hero. He tells Crocell that he has the opportunity to make amends for his past actions, and reminds him that a true hero is meant to protect the weak and vulnerable. Anchor Sam's kindness touches Crocell so deeply that he cries and thanks him for his compassion.
    • The people of Megapolis give Shinobu a hearty send-off as Father Brasse tells Shinobu to join Mutenmaru on his journey to find the true meaning of being a hero.

City of Radiance

  • Chapter 110: Tetsujin Unit Number 1 was a war robot feared by his enemies on the battleground. He intended to eliminate a blind old woman on the opposite side of the war upon spotting her but she welcomed him to her home, thinking that her son had come back. Tetsujin felt something warm in his heart as the old woman showed him love by cooking for him and telling him stories of her son. After she died, the robot renamed himself Tetsujin Granchio in her son's honor as he decided to become a chef and make everyone smile, donning the chef uniform that once belonged to the real Granchio.
  • Chapter 116: Tetsujin says he doesn't have a heart, only for Mel to place her hand on his chest and tell him that she knows his heart belongs there.

Star of Hope

  • Chapter 139: As Sissela is disappearing into bubbles, Sick shows Tear Crown an Abominable Crystal as an opportunity to extend Sissela's life and give Tear Crown more power. Unlike most people who meet him, Tear Crown immediately and angrily rejects the easy way out and rushes to save Sissela on her own.
  • Chapter 140:
    • In Sissela's mindscape, Tear Crown holds a crying Umimi in her hands as she promises to lend Umimi her strength and kindness to help Umimi's friends. As Tear Crown leads Umimi towards the door to the real world, Umimi asks Tear Crown what will become of her. Tear Crown responds by saying she will always be by Umimi's side.
    • After Umimi returns to save Mutenmaru from Sick once again, Mutenmaru and his friends happily welcome her back.
    • Umimi accepts the remains of her pink seashell from Mutenmaru, transforming it into a blue crystal similar to the one on Tear Crown's head as she feels Tear Crown by her side.
Umimi: Tear… Everyone has been waiting for me. Let's go together, Tear!
