The start of Chapter 5 has Estina undergoes a Heel–Face Turn. Roy meets an illusion of the late Grato, and as Roy attempts to destroy Fio and Esto's bodies, he ultimately refuses, and then tells the girls that what they need isn't their fight, but their home. As this uplifting music plays, Fio breaks out of her Brainwashed and Crazy state then tells Esto that while she and Esto may not have wished for their bodies, she is glad to have arrived with Roy and to be Esto's sister. Esto breaks down in tears and Fio and Esto hug each other tightly, then Roy says that they should go home together.
