  • Bea and Ben's first date in general. From the two laughing and getting to know each other; to eating the grilled cheeses; to falling asleep on the couch, the very affectionate, honest and deep bond that forms between them is extremely touching and deep. The way Bea gushes about how great Ben is over the phone after is also unbelievably sweet and meaningful.
  • The fake out video with the reveal that Leo was only pretending to object to Claudia and Halle together, with the reveal that it's to those invited to the destination wedding in Australia as well.
  • Ben and Claudia's friendship. That she was the sister of his best friend growing up didn't stop her from being like a younger sister to him and him being like an older brother to her. Not to mention thanks to their respective relationships with the Messina sisters—Bea and Halle respectively, they'll actually become real family too.
    • Semi-related but its shown and stated a few times that Pete and Bea actually get along pretty well, too. When he arrives to pick up Ben from the airport he reveals he's also there to pick up Bea, with the two exchanging pleasant conversation and gushing about the fact they're about to be in-laws thanks to their respective sisters' union. It's not heavily focused on, but it helps show how much of a Nice Guy Pete is given he likely heard some unpleasant things from Ben yet never let this perjure his own interactions with her.
  • That both Bea and Ben would each still be on good terms with Jonathan and Margaret respectively as well. That Bea and Margaret and Ben and Jonathan also each manage to get along with each other as well also counts.
    • More so shown with Margaret as she point blank asks if it's okay if she tries to court Ben, making sure she's not coming in between any relationship between Bea and him.
    • While they're not getting along at this time, Ben being jealous that Bea's still friendly with Jonathan does definitely still give the indication that he cares about her.
  • Crossed with Funny: Ben's so bad at long-distance swimming that Bea has to basically support and help him float to the dock in the water.
  • Crossed with Funny: Leo is so bad at diving that Ben takes the time to teach him how. It's not just a nice bonding moment between the two as Bea also happens to see it as well. Ben clearly didn't do it to make himself look better with Bea though and that it does do that is also a very fitting and moving moment too.
  • Right before everyone heads out on the boat the night before, despite it being staged, there's such an incredible smoothness in the way that Ben lifts Bea while also helping her down that it's really hard not to feel the two vibe with each other in moments where it's actually way more natural than they think it is.
  • Even though it's only staged for the purpose of making them look like they're that obnoxiously and stupidly in love, Bea and Ben doing the Titanic (1997) pose on the front of the boat complete with getting the other to say the signature lines too. The fact that they're doing it ironically, but it legit feels like an actual nice bonding moment definitely makes it stand out as such despite the cynicism they both have about it. While it gives the impression it's supposed to with everyone, it also truly feels like that at the core too.
  • Crossed with Funny: Bea sings Natasha Bedingfield's "Unwritten" to Ben to calm him while they're being airlifted out of the harbor, to the point that they both end up singing it together.
  • Bea and Ben making love shortly after reenacting parts of their first date while leaning heavily into Best Known for the Fanservice is such an intimate and passionate scene that it's really hard not to feel how warmhearted it is, especially after how much they were fighting earlier as well.
  • Even before their Pair the Spares connection is official, the glances that Jonathan and Margaret share indicating how the two are actually developing their own personal connection even if it's just to relate with each other on how puzzled they both are about the whole situation—and it's hard not to be happy with seeing the two together dancing and kissing after everything as well.
  • As soon as Ben and Bea start becoming hostile with each other over Pete telling the latter's parents about her dropping out of law school, Pete's first reaction is to immediately pacify the hostilities and casually take full blame for the entire situation, which shows how true-blue of a friend Pete is to Ben when he realizes that he got him and Bea into trouble.
  • Ben goes to see Bea the night before the wedding after witnessing Claudia and Halle's fight and tells her they have one more thing they need to fake, with the two agreeing to actually make the effort to at least pretend to make peace while apologizing to Claudia and Halle personally regardless of what happens next.
  • Ben arriving at the Opera House via the Harbor Rescue helicopter to comfort Bea—and her glowing face when he does says it all.
  • Bea and Ben's kiss at both the Opera House and later continuously kissing while dancing at the wedding reception too, complete with "Unwritten" playing again—with them starting to sing it again too—and the two looking lovingly into each other's eyes (that it's an Ironic Echo of earlier that day makes it even better).
