- Does anyone Know who Billy Friday is supposed to be in Moore's Supreme? It looks like he's supposed to be a deliberate reference to another British comic writer, but he doesn't exactly mirror anyone in particular.
- Rumors persist that he is either Grant Morrison, who Moore seems to have some sort of personal dislike for, or is just a reference to British comic book writers in general, in which case Friday is a bit of self-depreciation in addition to a standard Take That!.
