• Exar Kun claims that his lightsaber was built using ancient Sith designs. The Sith were believed extinct by the Republic and Jedi ever since the Great Hyperspace War, and they hadn't developed lightsabers yet then. Was he simply refering to double-bladed regular swords?
  • It was later retconned that the Sith did have lightsabers all the way back to the original founders of the Jedi Order. It's just the alchemical swords were more popular around Naga Sadow's time.
