Funny / We Are Legion (We Are Bob)

• A lot of the Deltan story is pretty funny.
  • When Bob and Marvin first leave a wealth of flint behind for Archimedes, he initially starts taking it all back to the village, before stopping to hide most of it. Marvin jokes that they just witnessed the invention of greed.
  • When Archimedes invents a stone-tipped spear, he gets Moses, the elder, to help him negotiate a portion of meat from every kill made with one of the spears. Moses gets a cut as well, which annoys the other villagers. They only go along with it because "he won't be around much longer anyway," which earns them glares from Moses.
  • When Archimedes is trying to convince the others that a strange sky-creature has been talking to him, no one believes him. So Bob has one of his drones uncloak right above his head. Archimedes carefully doesn't look at it and just sort of smirks.
  • The Deltans, unable to quote pronounce Bob's name, refer to him as "The Bahhb," which becomes a running joke between Bob and Marvin, usually at Bahhb's expense.
  • Archimedes has a lady friend who begins spending time with him, but is terrified of The Bahhb and tries to avoid acknowledging or addressing Bob's drone. When Bob suggests that Archimedes go speak with their tribe's healer about learning some modern medical techniques, Archimedes hesitates, and his friend says she will go with him to speak to the medicine woman, noting that it's possible that she'll just kill The Bahhb.
• There is one F-bomb in this book and Riker drops it with pinpoint accuracy. When Minister Cranston attempts to use a Trigger Phrase to activate Riker's Manchurian Agent programming (which the original Bob removed as soon as he left the Sol system before Riker was cloned) Riker's response is as follows:
  Riker: Minister Cranston.
  Cranston: Yes Replicant?
  Riker: Go fuck yourself.
