Main Story

  • Some of the dialogue choices can lead to hilarious results. For example, in Chapter 1, if you have Serenoa point out Travis and Trish's Strong Family Resemblance, Travis will start gushing about how Trish is his pride and joy and she's just like him. Trish replies that she's not as hairy or smelly as he is. Once they start bickering, Benedict completely seriously praises Serenoa for distracting them.
  • In Chapter 2, while Dragan's drunken rambling is mostly serious, it still manages to be a bit funny thanks to Caleb Yen's delivery. Once he passes out, Frederica just dryly comments that "Lord Dragan has turned in for the night."
  • During the tourney, when Exharme gets low on HP, he'll praise the Goddess for House Wolffort being Worthy Opponents. Sorsley snarks that Exharme "finds the Goddess in strange places."
  • If you smuggle the salt in Chapter 9, then during the exploration phase in Chapter 10, one of the Aesfrosti soldiers will remark that "Maxwell" is much younger than he expected him to be. Basically all of the dialogue choices are Serenoa very awkwardly changing the subject so he doesn't realize that "Maxwell" is actually Roland.
  • Throughout the story, there's a Running Gag of Erador being unable to keep his voice down, and the other characters scold him for it.

Side Stories & Encampment Interactions

  • During Corentin's first side story with Erador, Erador gets him to come over to the tavern for a drink. It turns out that Corentin really Can't Hold His Liquor, and he goes off on a drunken rant about how unfair Hyzante is. At one point, he mixes "preposterous" and "balderdash" into "prepalderdash," and then he passes out. Again, part of it is due to Stephen Fu's wonderful delivery.
  • Lionel's side stories revolve around Anna catching him in the middle of some kind of scheme. While he usually doesn't get to finish pulling it off, he still manages to worm his way out of punishment, much to Anna's exasperation. Back at the encampment, Lionel will gripe that Anna always has to ruin his fun.
  • After recruiting Quahaug, he'll sometimes comment in the encampment that he's glad he joined House Wolffort, because everyone there is really nice... "Except for that merchant" (presumably Lionel). "He's a little strange..."
  • Once Decimal has been recruited, it will occasionally spout off its "Welcome one and welcome all!" catchphrase its previous master gave it. Then, it will awkwardly correct itself and comment on how its previous programming hasn't worn off yet.
