• When Sun Jing finally musters the courage to actually talk to Qiu Tong for the first time, Qiu Tong winds up running away due to having been warned off by her classmate about "the weirdo at the bus stop". Sun Jing blurts out that she's a student from the neighboring school as hers, and got all tongue-tied trying to talk to her, but wants another chance to be a friend. Qiu Tong asks her to show her her student ID to prove her story. Cue panel of Sun Jing looking like a dopefish in her ID photo.◊
• First time Sun Jing visits Qiu Tong at her home, she sequesters herself in the bathroom momentarily as she has a moment of panic contemplating how to obtain a Relationship Upgrade with Qiu Tong. When she collects herself and gets ready to go back to the living room, the bathroom door handle straight-up breaks as she turns it.◊
• Qiu Tong gives her seat on the bus to a little kid after he says she's very pretty. Once he's sat down, and Qiu Tong is turned away from him, he innocently lifts her skirt and comments on the color of her underwear. Cue furious blushing and a pissed-off Sun Jing giving him a talk about what's appropriate—which rapidly derails thanks to Sun Jing's Freudian slip about seeing Qiu Tong's underwear herself. Even the guy in the seat behind seems to raise his eyebrows at that.
• Sun Jing's various Imagine Spot moments where she visualizes herself doing romantic things with Qiu Tong—and Qiu Tong innocently killing the moment almost immediately after.
• Tattletale observes a pair of ne'er-do-wells stealing another student's phone while outside at their PE class, complete with Sherlock Scan and narration. He stands up to go after them, but as soon as he does, he bangs his shin against the bench he was sitting on, abruptly cutting all internal monologue from him as he crouches down in pain.
• Immediately in the next chapter, the two delinquents try to unlock said stolen phone. After trying some standard combinations and failing miserably, the one trying to unlock it yells "Open Sesame!" at the phone, only to be reprimanded by his partner that there was no way that would have worked. Tattletale admits to himself that for a second, he actually thought it might work.
