• A crime boss puppet forces Detective Connie Edwards into sniffing up a puppet drug that would kill humans. She is assumed to have been killed by the drug, but she regains consciousness almost immediately.
• The scene where Phil ejaculate... silly string.
• One of the TV ads has a drug Public Service Announcement about the dangers of syrup addiction. The kicker is the text at the end of the PSA.
• Another anti-sugar PSA is a straight up parody of the "This Is Your Brain on Drugs" campaign
• An LAPD officer walks into a crime scene with a puppy in his hand, with an evidence tag on it, claiming he found "the murder weapon".
  • Phil coming in after Larry's murder by dogs initially has him emotional. When the cop brings in "the murder weapon", Phil gets furious at the dog and tries to attack it while being held back by the chief, with the chief hurriedly telling the officer to get the dog out of there.
  • When Edwards insensitively comments on the death of Larry, unaware that it's him (thanks to his "dye job"), Phil tackles her into the jacuzzi, with the two fighting and Edwards biting Phil in the crotch. And the scene after, with Edwards apologizing and saying Larry looked "A lot bluer." before, with Phil calling her a racist for it.
• The entire Running Gag of candy being hard drugs. Phil finding candy wrappers in Edward's apartment is treated like finding someone's stash.
• The puppet hookers mistaking Edwards for a man, and then a lesbian, will be hilariously relatable to at least some women in the audience who are on the more "masculine" looking side.
• Edwards and Phil's emotional talk in the car is punctuated by the radio playing some schmultzy music. Phil complains about it as Edwards tries to play it off (with Phil pointing out its coming from her Ipod playlist). Edwards eventually gets fed up and ends up blasting the radio with her gun. The pair end up laughing about it afterwards.
• Edwards and Phil's attempts to keep their voices down while talking to each other run afoul of Phil's flappy puppet mouth making it impossible for Edwards to read his lips.
