Funny / The Blob (1988)

• There's a number of funny lines in this film, even if most of them are Black Humor.
  • "Wait a minute...hockey season ended months ago!"
• The bit of Gallows Humor from Flagg after they try and fail to blow up with explosive charges in the sewer.
  Flagg: I think.....you pissed it off.
• While it is horrifying, there's something darkly humorous about the guy being sucked through the sink drain.
• The Blob also starts attacking with pseudopods at the end, quite literally flattening people under its weight. You actually get the idea that after all the gory, carefully planned deaths early in the movie, the monster is having fun at this point.
• One word: "Ribbed."
