At the end of the film, Anthony doesn't realize his little brother Eddie is dead. The last time he saw Eddie, he was escaping into the sewer with Meg and Kevin. What is Meg going to tell him?
Related to this. The reason why Eddie escaped into the sewer was because he ran from the cinema, where he illegaly watched a adult rated film because Anthony let him and Kevin in. Meaning Anthony is largely to blame for his brother's death.
There's another thing to take into account: Kevin and Eddie both chose to go to the theater and probably manipulated Anthony to let them in. Kevin is going to have to live with the fact that Eddie is dead because he and Eddie chose to go watch a stupid slasher film, which lead to Eddie's death because the Blob targeted the theater, leaving him with some Survivor Guilt for the rest of his life.
It's never brought up, but with the Blob hiding out in the sewers, it would be incredibly dangerous to use the bathroom at all because it could come up through the toilets and sinks (which is brought up but in a kitchen setting instead of a bathroom).
