• In their first fight with Youkai Buruburu, as he was used against them a Density Shift, Takaharu's and Nagi's helmet made contact and there is a 'kiss' sound. They even put their hands on the area of where their mouths are in surprise.
• Drive uses Midnight Shadow against the Ninningers. They get upset about having their gimmick stolen.
  • Kiriko arrives to the end of the fight with gun drawn, ready to make some arrests. AkaNinger, ShiroNinger, and Drive himself put their hands up.
• Takaharu gets arrested by Shinnosuke.
  • Their following reactions when the other Ninningers have disappeared are priceless.
• During interrogation, Takaharu asks when they get to the part where they bribe him with food. Shinnosuke tells him this isn't a corny cop drama, which Kiriko writes down as part of the interrogation report. Then Shinnosuke and Kiriko start fighting over her decision to include that part.
  • There's also this gem from a bit before that scene.
  Kiriko: Name: Igasaki Takaharu. "Takaharu" is written using the kanji for "splendid". Occupation... (turns and looks at Takaharu, still in AkaNinger form)
  Beat
  Kiriko (nonchalantly): AkaNinger.
  • Even better is the way he's sitting in the chair. You can tell that Taka is pissed underneath his helmet.
  • Takaharu literally poofs out from his interrogation, freaking Shinnosuke and Kiriko out.
    • He then appears hanging upside down on a window next to Shinnosuke.
• Takaharu in general confuses Shinnosuke to the point where he feels his mind is about to stall and sits in the fetal position. Takaharu grabs him by the collar and starts dragging him to the exit.
• The Chief and Takaharu's grandpa arguing about whether Youkai exist or not, culminating in them sealing at each other like dogs.
• When Shinnosuke is picked up by one of the Giant Roidmudes, the Ninningers come in to save him from the giant monster's grasp. How do they do this? By having Otomo Nin Shinobimaru tickle the Roidmude.
  • What sells it even more is the fact that after Shinnosuke is freed he just lays there motionless for a few moments.
• Like the Takatora phone scene last year, Brain sees Shinobimaru outside the window and tells Heart and Medic. When they look outside, they see nothing and call Brain crazy.
• After defeating the two giant Roidmudes and learning that they'll all disappear eventually when UFOmaru disappears, the entire police force surrounds Shurikenjin and all of the Ninningers are arrested, with several of them putting their limbs out of the bars in protest! They escape not 5 minutes later.
  • They end up using Kawarimi no Jutsu to escape, with Yakumo's saying "Easy" and Kasumi's apologizing for escaping.
• Takaharu trying to say Shinnosuke's Catchphrase:

  "My skull... is in Top Gear!"

• The Big Bad of the special, Doctor D, is such an amazing Large Ham, it's perfect. It helps that he's being played by Red Racer.
