When there's a kid demon running around, there's going to be plenty of slap stick humor as well as the toilet humor.

• As Shen Gonbao and Taiyi Zhenren are sent to capture the pearl, it doesn't look too harmless until Taiyi motions for it to come to him, and then it transforms into something larger.
  • It curb-stomps Shen Gongbao and Taiyi that when it's punching the living daylight out of Taiyi, it apparently made a mirror to admire itself while it pushes its hair back.
    Taiyi: (nervously) Not the face?
• Ne Zha surprisingly is a lot like his mother who heavily pregnant, munches on food while her husband guides her to a temple for them to pray and even arrogantly refuses to pray, grumbling that she's already prayed for three years.
• Taiyi at first trying to decline the jar of alcohol, is then tempted and says he'll just "take a sip". He ends up drinking three mouthfuls before downing another and then passing out.
• Li Jing finds Taiyi passed out and while the possessed servant suggests they punch Taiyi's stomach to get rid of the alcohol he drank. Li Jin stops him, pointing out Taiyi is an immortal and hitting him would be wrong.
  Maid: My lord! She won't last much longer!
  Li Jing: Out of the way!! (starts furiously punching Taiyi's stomach)
• Like an old person with a smartphone, Taiyi forgets the password to open the device that stores the Spirit Pearl and could have just used his fingerprint for verification.
  • Even funnier is everyone's reactions from Li Jing and the servant getting nervous about Taiyi putting in the incorrect password while Shen Gongbao towards the end is angrily biting the rails.
• The one Running Gag of the huge man screaming like a little girl, and the old blind man who keeps mistaking other objects for the people he's addressing.
• As Ne Zha starts growing into the form of a child, ominous music starts to play. However, everyone looks to the side and glares, showing that the musicians from earlier were the ones behind the playing, which they immediately stop and smile shyly when they're outed.
• After Ne Zha's birth and Taiyi saying how Ne Zha is a demon child, one man who wrote a sign congratulating Lady Yin and Li Jing for the birth of a boy, immediately shucks it for a sign that says, "My greatest condolences".
• Lady Yin offering to play shuttle lock with Ne Zha and her guards offer her her armor before it begins. She chides them saying she will not wear armor while playing with her son just as Ne Zha kicks the toy at her to catch. She immediately gets shot into the wall, leaving her shape indented into it. While she tries to cheerfully brush it off as Ne Zha looks apologetic, she quietly asks for her armor.
• Ne Zha terrorizing the townspeople, counting down for them to hide.
• A group of boys plan out how to get at Ne Zha with a little boy coming up and setting out his entire plan. The boys end up adding sea urchins to the mud pool along with peeing in it, only for the boy to reveal he was Ne Zha and scaring the boys. They end up triggering all of Ne Zha's traps, exactly how Ne Zha described it would have gone for him.
• Ne Zha head-butting the sea demon which is apparently very effective. He even does this to Ao Bing.
• Ao Bing saves the little girl from the demon, who Ne Zha snatches out of his hands, throws back to the demon and says Ao Bing can't one up him and that the sea demon should wait his turn while he takes on Ao Bing. The sea demon is rightfully confused.
• After Ao Bing gets petrified, how does Ne Zha get through the bubbles? Use Ao Bing as a shield and staff, twirling him around to protect himself from the bubbles away and hit the demon on the head with Ao Bing. You can see poor Ao Bing look around in confusion with his one unpertified eye likely thinking, "Is this really happening to me?"
• Nezha drinks the sea demon's snot to cure the paralysis spell. Only afterwards does he find out he could have applied it externally. The next shot of the demon shows that Ne Zha had punched him in the eye off screen.
  • As he applies the snot onto Ao Bing, he even briefly slaps him on the face.
• Shen Gongbao decides to reveal himself to Ne Zha while the boy poses in front of the mirror. Cue Ne Zha throwing a pot at him and immediately beating him with a spiked club. He only stops when Shen Gongbao yells that he's a friend of his master Taiyi.
  • Due to his stutter, Shen Gongbao doesn't say his name clearly, confusing Ne Zha into thinking his name is Shen Gonggong. He continues to call him this for the rest of the movie, to which the other angrily screams his correct name.
• The head servant trying to get the townsfolk to smile, as they look like their at a funeral. They... do their best. Then he yells at the musicians to play more cheerful music and not like they were at a funeral.
• Taiyi presenting Ne Zha with his gifts, as well as his pig who takes the form of two flaming wheels that grant Ne Zha flight. He explains that it takes the form of whoever owns it, with the head servant asking Taiyi if there was a reason his flying steed looked like a pig. Taiyi glares at the servant for the implication.
• The guards with the sea demon awaiting Li Jing's orders to present the sea demon and clear Ne Zha's name. However, they need to wait for the signal, and as the movie goes on, they hear a lot of ruckus outside, but stay put because Ji Ling didn't give the signal. It's only until the mid-credits scene where they're trying to hold up the roof of the cell wondering if now was the time to reveal themselves. Only for the East guard to remember he doesn't even know what the signal even was.
• Shen Gongbao waxing on a monologue at how the world will not show Ao Bing the same kindness he shows them because he's a dragon. However, he doesn't realize his disciple already left and is flabbergasted when he turns around to see that Ao Bing didn't hear any of that.
• Ne Zha fighting against Ao Bing where he stabs the other in the butt, multiple times. It's only due to his dragon scale robe that Ao Bing didn't suffer any actual damage.
• Ne Zha takes on the form of Shen Gongbao and the two accidentally run into one another by comedically slamming into one another. Ne Zha then notices Shen Gongbao's weapon, changes his spear to look like it, and then changes Shen Gongbao's sword to look like his spear. Ao Bing runs into the two and immediately attacks his master, who tries to tell him it was a trick.
• Nezha, Ao Bing, Taiyi, and Gongbao all get tangled up in a giant ice ball while fighting over the magic brush that helps them escape the painting. The humans observe them fighting in the painting as if it's a pinball game. Finally, they're reduced to Gongbao breathing and Taiyi farting to shift the ball just enough for their apprentices to grab the brush.
• Taiyi yelling at Ne Zha at why he's so terrible using the brush and Ne Zha yells for him to try and draw with his feet.

Meta

• This trailer where Ne Zha uses the restroom alongside the Monkey King and a curious boy who's still unsure if Ne Zha is a girl, even after Ne Zha pulls his pants down. Gets funnier when earlier the boy asks if Ne Zha is a boy and the Monkey King angrily replies that Ne Zha was a girl and still insists Ne Zha is female even after being proved otherwise.
• Ne Zha being an absolute nightmare to Jiang Ziya. At the end the man finally loses it, not because the kid ruined his incredibly well planned and presented Lunar New Year feast, but because he had rice on his cheek that wasn't brushed off.
