  • Heidi continues to get Randy's name wrong, despite knowing him for most of his life, and makes the same flub with Kagami constantly. Seems it's just a curse of the Cunningham family tree.
  • Shadow Moth getting ready to Akumatize Bucky (his first victim in Norrisville) starts his usual spiel as it flies away... only to get stuck at the window since his new base doesn't open on command like his old one. Cue the Big Bad walking over to the window to open it before walking back and carrying on his interrupted monologue. He then decides to add some renovations.
  • Later on, he sends Adrien out of his house so he can install a window in his new base just like the one he has in Paris, which leads to all sorts of hijinks. Made all the funnier by the fact that he's doing it as Gabriel while Nathalie watches.
    • First, his and Nathalie's genuine shock at the instructions opening out, going from handheld size, to large enough to cover half the floor. He dazedly asks if all instructions from America are that large.
    • Later on, he seems to have the new window installed, except it stops just short of closing with a small opening. He starts insisting to himself it doesn't bother him, before admitting it bothers him a lot, and gets even more frustrated when the system starts to jam.
  • At the end of the same chapter, he is happy to have the system finally installed, but is completely shocked when he hears Adrien spent over $600 on tacky clothes!
    • Part of the reason Adrien bought so much was to try and support a local business. An angry Gabriel reveals that they're actually a national chain store whose company is worth several million dollars, which makes the young Agreste sheepish.
  • Viceroy tries to calm down McFist when the Ninja insults him through their butterfly robots. He himself flies into an even bigger rage when the Ninja insults his glasses.
  • The Running Gag of people calling Theresa a cheerleader (she's actually a twirler, which is a different type of athlete), even Shadow Moth.
  • Jeerleader (an akumatized Theresa) is given a Compelling Voice, which she uses to enact revenge on those who wronged her, including Principal Slimovitz for cutting her teams budget. She orders him to take his car on a dangerous drive, and is genuinely surprised (and a bit disturbed) when he runs Coach Greens obstacle course with it, which includes several blades, flaming hoops, and a shark tank!
    • Later on, she tries to use her Compelling Voice to get the Parisian heroes to give up their Miraculous... which fails since Shadow Moth explains she has to rhyme for it to work. She angrily asks what even rhymes with 'Miraculous'.
    • As the fight goes on, Shadow Moth realizes that it's a new town, and no one knows what the Miraculous are, and has to stop and explain to Jeerleader that they are Ladybugs earrings and Chat Noirs ring, respectively. A frustrated Jeerleader asks why he didn't say that from the get go.
  • During the battle with King Arthurpod, the akumatized villain uses his powers to control, then mutate the insects of Norrisville, eventually giving them humanoid appearances and sentience. This leads to a few funny moments.
    • Shadow Moth takes a moment to praise King Arthurpod for making the butterfly mutant similar to a knight.
    • One of the ladybug mutants ripped out a tire from a car and with its wire began to swing it over its head just like how Ladybug does with her own yo-yo. Needless to say, the heroine did not appreciate the copycat.
      Ladybug: OK, that's just insulting!
    • When a ladybug mutant grabs Chat Noir by the neck and demands he hand over his Miraculous, he expresses defiance and sincerely compliments her mandibles complementing her face. The ladybug mutant is actually bashful over this and thanks him for it.
Chat Noir: Nice enough to let me go?
Ladybug mutant: No amount of niceness will save you, humie!
    • When Ladybug calls the insects 'gross mutants', Chat disagrees saying they actually look quite nice. A disgusted Ladybug tries to change topics, only to be surprised when Rena Rouge agrees with him, the heroes devolving into an argument over it.
