Fridge Horror
- The ending reveals that Lily's birth mother is Nancy, who is still living in a psychiatric hospital and has possibly been there for over two decades since the events of The Craft. This also leads one to wonder how she got pregnant while living in such a place and some of the possibilities are horrifying, such as Nancy being sexually assaulted or taken advantage of (which is sadly not unheard of in real world institutions).
- For what it's worth, the room Nancy is shown in at the end of Legacy is different and much nicer than the original, which was basically a padded cell. While she's not wearing makeup, she is wearing what looks like normal clothes (a blouse and a pair of jeans) and a nice haircut, she's not strapped down and she sounds lucid instead of raving. If both films are set in present day, then something like eight to ten years would have passed between the end of Craft and Lily's birth—enough time for at least some of the therapy/medication to possibly set in and let Nancy have a normal life.
- Then again, according to Word of God Lily was conceived from rape and it may be why Nancy has committed herself to a hospital again, which would suggest she managed to get better than got traumatized all over again. Poor Nancy.
- There's little to no mention of Adam's first wife. She doesn't seem to have any part in the boys' life. Given Adam's sexism and his willingness to kill or manipulate other for his own gain, he could have done something horrible to her to put her out of the picture.
