Fridge Brilliance

  • Kakyoin being born in Morioh actually makes a lot of sense when looking at Diamond is Unbreakable. In Part 4, the first-year students at Josuke's high school wear light green, the second-year students either wear purple or blue, and the third-year students wear dark green. Considering that Kakyoin is 17 in Stardust Crusaders, that would make him a third-year student, and he only wears a dark green uniform instead of black because he transferred to Jotaro's high school. By this logic, Kakyoin likely attended the same high school that Josuke attends in Part 4.

Fridge Horror

  • The reveal that a fair number of DIO's surviving minions who didn't get flesh budded are Shell-Shocked Veterans makes the Heaven plan even more scary. It's shown via Mariah's exposition, Hol Horse's traumatic flashbacks, and Pet Sounds's record of the psychological torture DIO subjected Daniel J. D'Arby to that the minions loyal to DIO who weren't already Psychos for Hire (e.g. Telence, who joined DIO completely freely) or had flesh buds were subjected to severe Mind Rape that forced them to pledge loyalty to DIO, and even after his death, the emotional and mental scars 10 years later haven't vanished. From Pucci's perspective, DIO was a messiah figure who wanted the best for everyone via the Heaven plan making them cognitively aware of their own fate, but considering that none of DIO's minions who weren't already in his league of evil actually liked him, being subjected to subliminal messaging that made them convince themselves that they're nothing without him, there's a strong chance that DIO's sense of humanity seen in Stone Ocean is merely a façade. The loyalty from his minions wasn't genuine; he deliberately set the table to where they thought he was a supreme overlord, and the subconscious knowledge of fate granted by the Heaven plan would likely not let people be at peace unless they were DIO himself. Based on the information provided by Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak, any sort of goodwill DIO potentially shows towards others is completely disingenuous, and ultimately serves to make him more powerful.
