• Early in the film, Willoughby puts "Fearless" by Pink Floyd on the stereo to play to the rest of the main characters. The movie is set in 1980, and most of the rest of the licensed songs were released between 1979 and 1980, so using a song from 1971 for the scene sort of stands out. His choice in music is an early sign that he's older than he lets on - It's later revealed that he's actually 30 and faked his transcript to get back into college. Wiloughby would have been 21 or 22 around the time Meddle came out, so this kind of demonstrates how he hasn't moved on from his college years.
