• PB the pig considers herself unworthy to be Wonder Woman's sidekick. This relates to pigs being a common symbol of obesity and sloth. However, in Greek mythology the pig is actually an animal sacred to Demeter the nature goddess, and as Diana is a Greek goddess heroine (as well as an All-Loving Hero) PB is more than qualified to be her pet.
  • Furthermore, the pig is a descendant of the boar, an animal sacred to the goddess Artemis, herself a goddess of nature (as well as of the moon, children and chastity).
• This iteration makes Ace the Bat Hound invulnerable. Batman finally has a family member who won't leave and can't be taken away from him.
• All the scenes with Wonder Woman become a bit funnier when you remember that in the comics she has the power to talk to animals, and thus she might be the only non-animal person who can actually understand what all the pets are saying.
