One Tent, Two Sleeping Bags, Three Guys by Coriana

• Synopsis: Monk, John, and Yasuhara spend the night in a tent outside a presumably haunted house. Hilarity Ensues.
• Comments: It's a very silly story. Brilliantly written, and anyone who has ever had horrible camping experiences will find it entertainingly familiar.

Mortui Sumus Peccato by thebookhobbit

• Synopsis: Attempting to be a good friend, John finds himself inexplicably drawn to Masako.
• Pairings: John/Masako, but only a little.
• Comments: This story is hard to summarize. Just read it. It's one of the only John pairing fics that don't handwave or ignore his profession entirely, and it is very sweet.

• Synopsis: Mai Taniyama's transfer application to Cambridge University says she wants to study Parapsychology. Not on the application: a secret transfer that will bring Mai and Naru together and simultaneously tear them apart. Japan's SPR follows Naru to England...
• Pairings: Naru/Mai, Lin/Madoka
• Comments: My personal favorite Ghost Hunt story. It is very well-written, and the characters are pretty much perfect. The author does an excellent job of portraying the slow-developing romance between Naru and Mai and teasing out plot points. The story does move rather slowly, but the character interaction is worth it.

• Comments: One of my absolute favorite Ghost Hunt fanfics featuring Naru & Mai. It offers an alternative plot of how Mai & Naru met in Tokyo and their developing relationship.

Haunting Life by mytruthaboutlife

• Comments: This is my top personal favorite of Ghost Hunt fanfiction. Whether or not the author is continue is unknown but there's so much that it's hard to mind. At times, the chapters are too short for my liking but the nice pace and storyline as she continues the hunt in her own way.
