The Wonder Saturdays
is a Wonder Woman and The Secret Saturdays crossover by Epiclot214. When Argost, in alliance with several supervillains, captures Wonder Woman and seeks to find and control the ancient cryptid Kur, Cassie must team up with the Saturdays and Cyborg to stop the mad TV host.
This fanfic contains examples of:
- Adaptational Origin Connection: Most of Argots's allies got their start in villainy due to him in some way. For instance, he was the one who gave Cheetah the talisman that gave her her powers.
- Badass in Distress: Wonder Woman starts the story as a prisoner of Argost, the villains in his employ even using her lasso to find the Amazon Kur Stone piece.
- Bond Villain Stupidity: Despite Silver Swan's desire to kill her, Argost insists on keeping the captive Wonder Woman alive, just so he can see the look on her face when he succeeds.
- Even Evil Has Standards: When Dr. Cyber threatens Victor's life so that Silas will tell them where his piece of the Kur Stone is, The Blue Snowman notes that they didn't sign on to kill kids.
- Fusion Fic: Combines the worlds of the Secret Saturdays with DC, with the Secret Scientists even working with the Amazons. Silas Stone is also a member, and his son's injuries were caused by villains searching for his piece of the Kur Stone.
- Never Found the Body: Donna Troy supposedly died in the Weird World assault, but her body was never recovered.
- Villain Team-Up: Argost and a number of other villains are working together, with Argost having been responsible for several of them being able to make it as villains in the first place, like with Cheetah. The deal is that the others can do what they want with Argost's support for the most part, and in exchange they aid him in the search for Kur when needed.
