Three years after Galaxy, Raimon is in High School. Things have changed and everything's going well until- "DAMNIT YOU STUPID RABBIT!" - Fei accidentaly sends Tenma to the past (and gets him stuck in his younger body)! The worst? He now has to go through everything AGAIN! What does Tenma do? He messes with everyone by using his future knowledge, of course!

Accidental Reverse is a time travel fanfiction of Inazuma Eleven GO written by Yara Meijer in fanfiction.net, Archive Of Our Own and Wattpad.

Recursive stories related to the universe can be found in Fanfiction.net here, with Wattpad and AO3 links.

Accidental Reverse contains examples of:

  • Adaptational Badass: Tenma. Since he awakened his Soul early. Unfortunately, it came at the cost of a Heroic RRoD because his now 12-13 year old body is not capable of adapting to it yet.
  • Adaptational Heroism: Minamisawa. He's more of a Jerk with a Heart of Gold but his interactions with Tenma are far from pleasant. In here, thanks to a nail here and there, Minamisawa had been far friendlier to Tenma than he did in canon after finding out about his Heroic RRoD.
  • Adaptational Personality Change: Played With. Tenma has become something akin to The Gadfly to his team mates in the past but he still had the kind Genki Boy personality with a love for soccer he is known for in canon.
  • Adaptation Expansion: Characterizations of several characters are elaborated upon.
  • Arson, Murder, and Jaywalking: In the one-shot Therapy session, Raimon-style, Sangoku gives a Long List of crazy things the team has done, including (but not limited to) flooding the cafeteria, creating an army of snakes, and using their sane teammates as fish bait. What's the last thing on the list? They made it rain chickens.
  • Precision F-Strike: In Chapter 33, when Seiji learns of Senguuji's extremely detailed investigation of the Resistance,
A moment of silence.
Then, "what the fuck."
  • Rapid-Fire "No!": Tenma does a variation of the trope in Chapter 11, in which he consecutively says more than twenty different terms and phrases to show he refuses to answer his teammates' questions.
Tenma: So I'm afraid I really won't tell you, sorry, nope, no can do, nay, negative, veto, out of the question, not for all the swimming cupcakes in the world, not a cat's chance, go fish, why Heavens no, I shall not, frankly my dear no, I will sit this one out, I find the idea undesirable, a yes would be the slow withering death of my soul, regrettably I'm not able to due to higher circumstances, it's that time of the year when I must say no, I cannot commit, I only provide an answer to very select questions and unfortunately this one doesn't meet my criteria, I shall call upon my right of silence…
  • Lighter and Softer: The Recursive one-shot stories are generally lighter and had less tension and stakes going on with the story majorly centering on the Hijinks of the cast in contrast to the main scenario of Accidental Reverse.
  • Rational Fic: To quote the summary,
Only this time, he has two things he didn't have in the normal series: Knowledge of the future and this little handy thing called “common sense”.
  • Time Travel: The premise. Except, Tenma has no plans of getting caught into another Time Travel due to events in Chrono Stone. He got into it by accident. Both this and its subtropes may possibly be subverted, however, as the writer never clearly stated what has happened to Tenma.
