A Mario and Pokémon crossover, written by troper jakeroo123. It involves Luigi waking up in Viridan Forest as a twelve-year-old boy, befirending a raichu, and the adventures that follow. He soon meets both Team Rocket and Ash Ketchum, and starts traveling with the latter after his loss at the Unova League. It can be read here
This fan fiction contains examples of:
- Breaking the Fourth Wall: Looks like Team Rocket's back to doing this again.
- Curb-Stomp Battle: Samurai vs Luigi, in the latter's first battle. Partially because of Samurai's powerful Butterfree (which is the Metapod he had during his battle with Ash on the show); but mostly because Luigi doesn't know what he's doing.
- Fish out of Water: Luigi. As
the author explains, he tries to apply Mario logic to the Pokemon world, which is what led to the aforementioned Curb-Stomp Battle.
- Intelligible Unintelligible: Luke and Pikachu both; though each can only be understood by their respective trainers.
- Keet: Luke, Luigi's raichu, is indicated to be one.
