Henry meets an Egyptian demigoddess who has the power to have visions. The Golds are expecting a child who might have inherited the Dark One's powers.

- Ascended Extra: Fidget the Bat in the fanfic is obviously taken from the character of the same name in The Great Mouse Detective. However, unlike the original Fidget, this one is more ambitious, determined, cunning, and willing to take action.
- Happily Adopted: During their first meeting, Fidget tells Killian how he was adopted by a couple of Aldoradian noblemen and lived a happy life with them.
- Interspecies Friendship: During the flashbacks, it is seen that Killian and Fidget were pretty good friends although they were from different nations and different species.
- Interspecies Romance: Fidget, a Batrishan, was in love with Isabella, a human princess, and the two were engaged to be married before she accidentally got killed.
- Would Hurt a Child: Fidget kidnapped Henry and Rosetta, two harmless children, manipulated one of them by pulling out his heart while feeding on the other's blood, and threw Henry into a ravine when he was done with him. Why? Because he used them to get his revenge on Killian.
